Built for Work. Designed for Opportunity.
Grit City Gravel Pumping builds and retrofits truck-mounted material placement rigs—and we also use them in the field to deliver and place gravel, sand, soil, and other materials. If you work with bulk material, you know the real challenge isn’t buying it. It’s getting it exactly where it needs to go without wasting time, labor, or access..
What We Build
We manufacture equipment that mounts to the back of work trucks and turns them into high-output material placement machines. Material feeds into a hopper and moves through a hose so an operator can place it where it’s needed even on tight access sites.
Placement range: 20 to 300 feet
Output targets: up to 75 wheelbarrow loads per hour or up to 15 yards per hour
(Results vary by material type, moisture, hose length, and site conditions.)

Why It Matters
A placement rig helps you finish jobs faster, reduce re-handling, and take on work that’s hard to service with dumping or manual hauling. It’s not just equipment—it’s a way to increase production and open up more types of jobs.

What Makes Grit City Gravel Pumping Different
Built Around Your Truck
We don’t push one-size-fits-all builds. We design around your truck platform, material type, hose distance, job types, and output goals—so the system fits how you actually work.
For Entrepreneurs and Investors
For owner-operators, this can become a new service line with repeatable, production-based work. For investors and partners, we’re building a business designed for scalable manufacturing, standardized options, and long-term support.
Our Build Process
1) Discovery → 2) Design → 3) Fabrication → 4) Install + Test → 5) Handoff
